Shipping policy
Delivery Architecture and Carrier Discretion
- Fulfillment Discretion: Aspire Poly Furniture reserves the absolute, exclusive right to determine the most efficient shipping method and carrier network for your order.
- Shipment Profiling: Orders exceeding standard parcel weight or dimension thresholds will be securely palletized, banded, and dispatched via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) Freight. Orders falling below palletized thresholds will be shipped via standard parcel networks (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL) in individual corrugated boxes.
- Title and Risk of Loss: Title to the goods and all risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer immediately upon our transfer of the shipment to the carrier dock. Aspire Poly Furniture is not responsible for transit delays, carrier operational backlogs, weather disruptions, or labor strikes.
Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) Curbside Delivery Requirements
- Strict Curbside Delivery Limits: All LTL freight shipments are strictly limited to Curbside Delivery Only. The delivery truck will park at the curb or edge of the customer's property line. The carrier will lower the palletized furniture to the ground via a liftgate.
- Exclusion of Inside Delivery: Delivery personnel are explicitly unauthorized to transport pallets or boxes into backyards, garages, porches, driveways, or internal residential/commercial spaces. Unboxing, debris removal, pallet disposal, and final product placement remain the sole physical and financial responsibility of the Customer.
- Property Accessibility: It is the Customer's absolute responsibility to ensure the delivery address is entirely accessible to a full-sized commercial freight truck (e.g., a 53-foot semi-truck). If delivery is blocked by low-hanging trees, narrow roads, weight-restricted bridges, unpaved terrain, or local zoning laws, the Customer must notify Aspire Poly Furniture prior to shipment.
Customer Delivery Appointments and Penalties
- Delivery Scheduling: For all LTL freight shipments, the carrier will contact the Customer via the phone number provided at checkout to establish a mandatory delivery appointment window.
- Presence Requirement: The Customer or a legally designated adult representative (18+ years of age) must be physically present during the entire scheduled delivery window to inspect the shipment and sign the carrier’s Bill of Lading (BOL).
- Delivery Failure and Ancillary Charges: If the Customer fails to meet the carrier during the scheduled window, provides an inaccurate or invalid phone number/address, or refuses delivery, the Customer shall be solely liable for all resulting carrier charges. These charges include, but are not limited to, redelivery fees ($100–$250+), daily carrier storage fees ($50–$150/day), or return-to-sender freight charges. Aspire Poly Furniture will charge these fees directly to the Customer's payment method on file.
Mandatory Inspection and Receipt Protocol
- Immediate Exterior Inspection: Before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt or Bill of Lading (BOL), the Customer must physically inspect the external packaging, pallets, shrink wrap, and visible product components for signs of damage, puncture, tearing, or crushing.
- Notating Damage on the BOL: If physical damage or severe packaging breach is discovered, the Customer MUST clearly write a detailed description of the damage on the carrier's BOL before the driver departs. Writing "subject to inspection" or leaving the BOL blank completely voids your ability to claim transit damage.
- Reporting Window: All claims for visible transit damage, concealed damage discovered upon unboxing, or missing items must be submitted to Aspire Poly Furniture in writing with high-resolution photographic proof within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery. Failure to document damage on the BOL and report it within this 48-hour window constitutes an absolute, legally binding waiver of any claims against Aspire Poly Furniture.
Standard Parcel Delivery (Individual Boxes)
- No Signature Required: For orders shipped via standard parcel carriers in individual boxes, a signature is generally not required. The carrier will leave the boxes at the exterior front door, porch, or designated package area of the delivery address.
- Porch Piracy and Theft Disclaimer: Aspire Poly Furniture is not responsible for packages stolen, misplaced, or damaged after a verified successful delivery scan by the parcel carrier. We highly recommend utilizing secure delivery locations or tracking alerts to manage your arrival window.
